PUTTING NATIONAL DEBT IN PERSPECTIVE

(2000) -- national debt shrinking $18.6 billion a month.

(2002) -- national debt growing $1.6 billion a month.

(2004) -- national debt growing $61.8 billion a month.

(2006) -- national debt growing $122.8 billion a month.

Bush logic- shrinking is a bad thing but growing is a good thing. After all we all grow up we don't shrink up.
