REPUBLICANS BEHAVING BADLY -- ----------------------------- -----------------------------
  • GEORGE ALAN REKERS
  • rent boy scandal ----------------------------- -----------------------------
  • LARRY CRAIG
  • BATHROOM ANTICS AT MINNESOTA AIRPORT ----------------------------- -----------------------------
  • TOM DELAY
  • ON TOP OF MONEY LAUNDERING HE WAS INVOLVED IN FORCED PROSTITUTION AND FORCED ABORTION ----------------------------- -----------------------------
  • JACK ABRAMOFF
  • REPUBLICAN LOBBYIST ASSOCIATED WITH TOM DELAY, GROVER NORQUIST, RALPH REED, ETC. ----------------------------- ----------------------------- When republicans behave badly they end up doing the opposite of what they preach. Rekers preached anti-gay big time then gets caught with a rent a boy. Larry Craig proclaims "I am not gay, I have never been gay. I love my wife. After being caught trying to get sex in an airport bathroom. When they get caught the party rallies behind them because right or wrong they're republican. ----------------------------- ----------------------------- DEMOCRATS BEHAVING BADLY -- ----------------------------- -----------------------------
  • CONGRESSMAN WILLIAM JEFFERSON
  • Bribery charges when $90,000 found in his freezer ----------------------------- -----------------------------
  • ANTHONY WEINER
  • Sexting scandal ----------------------------- -----------------------------
  • JOHN EDWARDS
  • extramarital affair and love child ----------------------------- ----------------------------- This is a few of the dems that got in trouble. The difference . . . all three were ostracized even though only one broke the law. ----------------------------- ----------------------------- Then you have Mitch McConnell whose only accomplishment he intends is to make Obama a one-term president. It's the reason so many things aren't getting done. Everything is being blocked in the republican congress. So do you think if both parties operated the same way anything would ever get accomplished. The answer is no. That's why Obama can't get anything done. The republicans think their job is to filibuster everything the president tries to accomplish even if it hurts the country. And it does. ------------------------------ ------------------------------ Then voting rights -- the republicans don't want you to vote unless you vote for them.
  • PAUL WEYRICH
  • founding father of the conservative movement said he did not want everyone to vote or they would lose. They are trying to suppress the vote right now with voter ID laws that would prevent voter fraud even though voting fraud is at .0001% . . . a solution looking for a
  • problem
  • . ------------------------------ ------------------------------ Now for what pisses me off about Obama . . . not putting the Bush administration on trial for war crimes, always trying to work with republicans even though they spit in his face every time he tries, not boasting his accomplishments the way Bush did (I don't expect him to be like the arrogant Bush, but unless he at least takes credit for it the republicans keep shouting lies louder and louder until people are so worn down with the noise most accept it as truth. That's all for now.

MARRIAGE EQUALITY AND THE CHRISTIAN RIGHT

There is a build up on the 'christian right' against marriage equality with the argument that the bible says that it's against christian doctrine. For starters there is a separation of church and state. Marriages officially happen at a 'city hall' and require a marriage license then according to whatever religion you belong to you can go to a church and enjoy the religious ceremony. So, if I have my facts right a couple can get married in a civil/secular ceremony and they are legally married. If a church refuses to perform the religious ceremony so-be-it they are still married under the law. Separation of church and state has been satisfied. Now let's go to the bible. Claims are made that the bible says marriage must be between one man and one woman. I believe that the only place you will find this is in Leviticus. If you read Leviticus it's a little wacky - actually a lot of wacky. If you follow Leviticus -- misbehaving children are dealt with by killing them -- same with eating shellfish, wearing two different fabrics in your clothing, etc. Go to this

  • for info on Leviticus. Can you say cherry-picking evidence?

Meeting today’s GOP halfway is like letting a sexual predator take your clothes off. You haven’t been touched yet, but things are unlikely to end happily for you.
